Skin Food Concealer vs MAC Concealer

By Donna Mae  //  Make-Up, Skin  //  14 Comments

I recently had my second visit at Davao TLC Shop Fab Finds with fashion and beauty bloggers Brendel Balaga, Ria Jose and Dulce Lada. From my previous visit I bought Skin Food Peach Sake BB Cream and Skin Food Peach Sake Pore Serum. I saw that Skin Food Peach Sake has a Concealer and I decided to buy it and give it a try.

I love my MAC Concealer Studio Finish NC30. I’ve been using it since, forever. hehehehe It’s cream base. You don’t need to put a lot. It’s like an eraser once I put and spread it in my face my blemishes fades away like it wasn’t there. And it fits my skin tone perfectly.

I gave the Skin Food Peach Sake Concealer #1 a try. It didn’t quit cover my blemishes because it’s texture is very light. Unlike my MAC concealer one little wipe and wala! dark spots and blemishes gone. For now, I’ll stick with my MAC Concealer. Of course the result varies in skin type, skin tone and condition of your skin. This is just base on my own experience and judgement.

How about you? What concealer are you using? I wanna know all about it.

Skin Food Peach Sake Pore Serum

By Donna Mae  //  Skin  //  2 Comments

I’ve been using Celeteque Facial Moisturizer it works in giving my face a much needed moisture since I have normal to dry skin. But when I visited Davao Tlcshop Fab Finds with fellow fashion and beauty blogger Ria Jose and Brendel Balaga they encouraged me to go try SKIN FOOD product such as the Skin Food Peach Sake Pore Serum. Brendel explained to me that Peach Sake Pore Serum is really not for normal to dry skin like me since it’s purpose is to tighten pores and control extra sebum but I still gave it a try.

I’ve been using it everyday since. I love the way my skin feels after I apply Skin Food Peach Sake Pore Serum. It has a matte and smooth feeling. With Skin Food Peach Sake Pore Serum it feels like my pores diminish and leaves my face tight. And oh before I forget it smells peachy sweet too all the more reason why I love it.

I have normal to dry skin so on top of applying Skin Food Peach Sake Pore Serum I still use the CELETEQUE Facial Moisturizer. Before my regimen only includes: Facial Wash, Toner and Moiturizer now I added one, the Peach Sake Pore Serum before I eventually apply  moisturizer because I love the pore refining effect of Skin Food Peach Sake Pore Serum.

Skin Food Peach Sake Pore BB Cream

By Donna Mae  //  Make-Up  //  7 Comments

My shopping and beauty soul sisters, Ria Jose and Brendel Balaga brought me to this little cool place named Davao TLC shop. This little cool shop is selling BB CREAMS and make-ups from Korea. They suggested I try SKIN FOOD BB CREAM which Ria is also using her take on the SKIN FOOD BB CREAM HERE.

I’m a BB CREAM user already and I have tried MAYBELLINE BB CREAM and 3W BB CREAM. It’s time to move on to the next best BB CREAM according to Brendel Balaga, and so I did. I’ve used it for two days and I’m super loving it. The difference of SKIN FOOD PEACH BB CREAM with SPF 20 among the other BB creams I used is it’s sweet scent and it’s also has a much  lighter feel on the skin.

Yes the SPF is lower than my Maybelling BB cream’s SPF 26 but I’m not always exposed to the sun. My work is indoors so it’s totally fine for me.

SKIN FOOD PEACH SAKE PORE BB CREAM spf 20 RATING is 9 out of 10
